Danny the Wildchild aka Daniel Garcia was born on the South side of Chicago in 1977. The brother of a once aspiring DJ, he keenly watched and quickly learned the tricks of the trade. Danny began djing at age nine soon surpassing his brother’s abilities and eventually inherited his equipment and records. At twelve, Danny entered a Chicago area contest for young DJ’s and won. He took home that fifty-dollar prize and was called “The Wildchild” from that day forward.
Although Danny’s roots were as a Hip-Hop DJ, he was eventually introduced into the Chicago Rave scene and to the world of drum-n-bass. He enjoyed this new form of music, but also loved hip-hop and began to creatively blend the two genres creating a unique sound of his own. As Danny’s turntable talents grew, he began to incorporate scratching and DMC style battle tricks into his Drum-n-Bass sets. His precise mixing skills and unique style and sound gave him the opportunity to bring Drum-n-Bass into the DMC and Hip-Hop scenes.
Danny’s recognition has earned him a collection of praises from domestic and international magazines such as Mixer, Thousand Words, Faqt, and Lotus to name just a few. Danny was also featured as one of the people making waves in the scene in Urb’s Next 100 Artists to Watch Issue. When he’s not on the road mixing it up at clubs and festivals across the U.S., he can be found teaching a scratch course at the Old School in Chicago.

Expect the newest and highest quality Drum and Bass selection from DJ 3D; hard and dark yet dancefloor friendly. This original Chicago junglist knows his business! 3D has over 17 years experience behind the decks and has been moving dance-floors since the early 80's. Labeled "The Godfather of Chicago Drum and Bass", 3D is the pioneer of American Jungle Producers. The first to ever have his dub-plates rewound in a UK DJ's set and has out sold any other DJ or Producer in the USA. A total of over 80 SELF PRODUCED tracks and remixes on countless labels has gained him world-wide recognition. 3D also holds a stateside record with 13 rewinds in a 45 minute set! It's common knowledge that he'll cause major damage on the dance-floor when given the opportunity!
Here's his story...
DJ 3D, hailing from the suburbs of Chicago, started buying underground dance records in 1983 and spinning them publicly in '84. He was dedicated to the break-dance era where Afrika Bambaataa reigned and electro funk was a way of life. As the music progressed through time, 3D remained heavily involved in his club work until he noticed a new form of breakbeat music spawning from techno tracks of the early nineties. He decided to follow this new path along a music which developed into today's jungle drum and bass culture as we know it.
The early 90's jungle era gave him opportunity to host and guest appear on radio and internet mix shows accross the states. In his hometown he co-hosted with Snuggles, JJ Jellybean, and Slak on the Strictly Jungle show (WNUR 89.3fm) plus guest dj appearances on B96's Street Mix (96.3fm) and Dubshack's Drum and Bass Radio (92.7fm) show's. All this while recording numerous stateside drum and bass anthems for labels such as Ghetto Safari, Stepwise, Advance, N2O,
Kultbox and his own Dub Society, Uptempo Dance Music and Forte Recordings. He has worked as the technician behind Snuggles, Slak, Q System, Emminant Force, Flow, Desperado, Mindcontroller, hence the nick-name "The Technician".
With the storm of media coverage on Chicago's drum and bass scene in the late 90's, plus the national drum and bass club explosion, the success of his Forte Recordings label was at hand. Co-owned by partner Snuggles, their first major CD compilation release "Terminal Beats" landed in chain stores worldwide. Added exposure lead 3D to a signing with Bad Boy Bill's Mix Connection Multimedia / Canvas Records for his first full length solo album. Plus a major digital distribution deal with Emusic.com and a theme track on MTV's Blame Game show.
Into the new millenium, 3D currently releases solo projects on his Uptempo Dance Music Label and the west coast's N20 label. At clubs and raves across the states, you can find him spinning the newest quality drum and bass, plus at any moments notice you'll hear 3D jungle riffs as background music on your local radio and tv stations.

Phantom 45, a Chicago native and drum n’ bass icon has been and continues to be the gateway through which many enter the world of Drum and Bass. Phantom has seen the world change and plays the rhythm of this transformation every weekend with his brand of smokin’ Jungle/Drum-n-Bass. Influenced by U.K. producers such as DJ Hype, Andy C. and the entire moving Shadow label, Phantom 45 began to forge a new way of presenting this musical movement in the U.S. as far back as 1991. His understanding of Breakbeats, House music and Rave culture increased his demand as a touring DJ, landing him the Chicago Krush Rinse Tour with Danny the Wildchild and Dr. Groo in 2000 and The Fully Sorted Tour in 2002! As he sees it he’s “just playing the tunes people need to hear” speaks volumes, for he spins what he feels – nothing more..nothing less.
In 2001 Phantom embarked on a mixed CD project for Strictly Hype Recordings entitled. “Booked 003”. Booked was a series dedicated to the life of the performer. The DJ that stands apart, pushing the envelope of music with his or her sets…with their music. The travelers, the artists, making their way across continents from airports to hotels and back again.
In 2002, Phantom followed up with another outstanding mix CD compilation, “Fully Sorted” on Surge Recordings.
The Phantom continues to rock the clubs in 2003 and is planning to hit the studio soon to give the people another musical masterpiece.
